Missing St. Thomas Man Went Fishing At Bordeaux Bay And Never Came Home

CHARLOTTE AMALIE — Police need your help to find a 70-year-old St. Thomas man who went fishing Saturday and never returned home.

Stanfield “Stan” Dumas was reported missing by family members at 5:53 p.m. on Saturday, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

Dumas is a black man who stands about 5-feet, 10-inches tall, according to the VIPD.

He was last seen around 7:31 a.m. on Saturday (May 16) leaving his residence in Estate Fortuna, wearing gray pants and a green t-shirt.

Family members reported that Dumas went line fishing alone in Bordeaux Bay and never returned home.

The VIPD is asking anyone who may have information regarding this missing person to call 911, the Criminal Investigation Bureau at (340) 774-2211 extension 5569 or Crime Stoppers USVI at (800) 222-TIPS.
