CHARLOTTE AMALIE — The Department of Public Works said that phase two of the “Crown Bay drainage and pedestrian improvements” project began near Subbase today.
The scope of phase two includes road reconstruction, asphalt milling, paving, manhole adjustments, as well as roadway and parking lot striping.
The project limits begin at DPW’s main entrance heading east towards the Bureau of Motor Vehicles area and then projecting north towards Nisky Center’s intersection.
“Motorists and pedestrians are asked to adhere to all traffic controls and traverse with caution,” DPW Renee Exius said.
Phase One of the project ran from July 1 to 31, according to Exius.
