St. Thomas Man Buys Gas, Then Robs Female Cashier At Gunpoint In Bovoni: VIPD

CHARLOTTE AMALIE –– Police on St. Thomas are investigating an armed robbery of a gas station in Estate Bovoni on Friday night, authorities said.

The 911 Emergency Call Center dispatched officers to Puma Gas Station located in Bovoni in reference to an armed robbery at 9:14 p.m. Friday, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

“The female employee reported to police that an unknown male purchased gas, then made his way inside of the facility and robbed her at gunpoint,” VIPD spokesman Toby Derima said.

This case is currently under active investigation.
