CHARLOTTE AMALIE — A St. Thomas man was arrested on an assortment of domestic violence-related charges on Friday evening, authorities said.
Geoffrey W. Plaskett, 56, of Charlotte Amalie, was arrested at 6:00 p.m. Friday and charged with third-degree assault-domestic violence, assault & battery-domestic violence, simple assault-domestic violence and disturbance of the peace-domestic violence, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.
No bail was offered to Plaskett as per the territory’s domestic violence statutes.
He was remanded to the custody of the Virgin Islands Bureau of Corrections (BOC) pending an advice-of-rights hearing in Superior Court.
