Public Works: Roadside Political Signs Must Be Removed By November 18

CHARLOTTE AMALIE — The Department of Public Works said it congratulates all newly-elected and re-elected candidates of the 2020 political season.

But the department also wanted to put candidates on notice that “all political signs must be removed within 15 calendar days of the election or by November 18.”

Public Works said that roadside advertisement permit applications can be found on the department’s website and are also available at DPW offices territory-wide.

For any questions pertaining to roadside advertisements in the territory, please call the DPW office on St. Croix at (340) 773-1290 or in the St. Thomas/St. John district at (340) 776-4844.

The Department of Public Works said it “appreciates the community’s patience as they work to improve road conditions throughout the territory.”
