Williams Delight Villas Community Center Meal Distribution Site Closed Starting Today: VIDE

FREDERIKSTED — Effective today, the meal distribution site at the William’s Delight Villas Community Center will be closed, the Virgin Islands Department of Education (VIDE) said on Facebook.

“Residents living in or near the William’s Delight neighborhood may pick up meals at any of the other distribution sites, which remain fully operational,” VIDE said anonymously. “We apologize for the inconvenience.”

No explanation was given by the Department of Education for the closure.

Education officials did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

  • Arthur A. Richards K-8 School
  • Claude O. Markoe Elementary School
  • D.C. Canegata Multipurpose Center (outside)
  • Eulalie R. Rivera K-8 School
  • John H. Woodson Junior High School
  • Isaac Boynes Ball Park Estate Grove Place
  • Lew Muckle Elementary School Sion Farm
  • Juanita Gardine K-8 School Estate Richmond
  • Renholdt ‘Rookie” Jackson Ball Park Estate Whim
  • Ricardo Richards Elementary School
  • St. Croix Central High School Estate Kingshill
  • St. Croix Educational Complex High School
