CHRISTIANSTED — A St. Croix man who allegedly served alcohol to a minor and then touched her unappropriated has been arrested by detectives based on a warrant, authorities said.
Kevin Moran, 47, of Estate Boetzberg, was arrested Wednesday and charged with first-degree unlawful sexual contact, aggravated assault & battery, simple assault & battery, and selling or serving alcoholic beverages to minors, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.
“Moran is accused of inappropriately touching a minor on December 11, 2020,” VIPD spokesman Toby Derima said.
Bail for Moran was set at $75,000. Unable to make bail, he was remanded to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections pending an advice-of-rights hearing.
All individuals listed as arrested or charged with a crime in this report are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
