EAST END — One of the O.G.’s of Hollywood was spotted at a chill St. Croix watering hole on Monday.
O.G. meaning “Original Ghostbuster” Dan Aykroyd who graciously posed for pictures with customers at the “new” Deep End Bar and Grill Restaurant at the Tamarind Reef Resort in Estate Green Cay.
Elena Lee Hensley had a friend snap a picture of her with Ghostbuster screenwriter Aykroyd and Tamarind Reef tennis pro Kevin Motta.
Her photo and story was viewed by 3,528 people on the Virgin Islands Free Press‘ Facebook platform this afternoon.
“Hey! Look who I ran into at The New Deep End Bar and Grille ONE OF THE ORIGINAL GHOSTBUSTERS (and Blues Brothers) Dan Aykroyd!!!” Hensley said on Facebook. “Just hangin’ with our tennis pro Kevin Motta!”
Aykroyd was also seen on St. Croix at a Cane Bay Bar in March of 2020 … just as the COVID-19 pandemic was taking hold of the U.S. Virgin Islands.
