Smith Bay Man Arrested For Punching Woman In The Face, Biting Her All Over Her Body: VIPD

CHARLOTTE AMALIE — A St Thomas man allegedly punched his ex-girlfriend in the face and bit her in “several” places on her body at Vessup Beach on Saturday morning, authorities said.

Thierre Louis, 22, of Smith Bay, was arrested at 9:31 a.m. and charged with simple assault-domestic violence, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

Louis “punched his ex-girlfriend in the face and about the body causing her to sustain a fractured nose and index finger,” according to the VIPD.

“Mr. Louis then proceeded to bite his ex-girlfriend about the body causing several contusions,” VIPD Communications Director Glen Dratte said.

Police interviewed Louis at his Water Bay Village Condominiums residence “where he was placed under arrest and later read his constitutional warning as to rights.,” according to Dratte.

Louis was not granted bail as per order of the Court and was scheduled for an advice-of-rights hearing today.
