‘Pungent Odor’ Closes Paternity and Child Support Division Office

CHRISTIANSTED — Attorney General Denise George is advising the public of the closure of the Department of Justice, Paternity and Child Support Division office located at #3018 Estate Orange Grove in St. Croix.
“Due to a pungent odor and need to conduct a full assessment to determine the cause of the odor and to perform necessary remediation, the facility is closed until further notice for the health and safety of the employees and the public, AG George said.

“As soon as possible, we will advise the public when regular operations will resume,” she said.
The Paternity and Child Support Office at 8000 Nisky Shopping Center, Suite 500, – 2
nd Floor, St. Thomas, remains open.

UPDATE: Sandra Goomansingh, spokeswoman for the VIDOJ, said on Friday July 15 that the PCSD office on St. Croix remains closed until further notice.
