FREDERIKSTED — Police are investigating after a shooting at Louis E. Brown Villas left two dead in Estate Paradise last night.
A call came in to the 911 Emergency Call Center reporting a shooting at 10:32 p.m. near Paradise Mills, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.
Upon officers arrival one gunshot victim was transported to JFL by ambulance, according to the VIPD.
“A second victim was discovered and on scene confirmed dead at the Louis E.
Brown vicinity of Building number19,” VIPD Communications Director Glen Dratte said. “The other victim was transported to the JFL Hospital and was pronounced dead at the hospital”
The Criminal Investigation Bureau was still canvassing the crime scene areas into the early morning hours. The CIB is conducting an exhaustive investigation into this matter.
