Help Police Find Attempted Murder Suspect Lafayette Artis On St. Croix

KINGSHILL — Police are asking for your help to find an attempted murder suspect on St. Croix

Lafayette Artis, 29, is wanted for first-degree attempted murder and related crimes, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

Artis is a black male with brown eyes, black hair and a dark complexion. He stands 5-feet,11-inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds.

He is known to frequent the Christiansted Boardwalk, Red Brick (D. Hamilton Jackson Terrace) and Grove Place areas of St. Croix, according to the VIPD.
