Man Arrested For Sending Picture of His Penis To Minor Girl On Snapchat

FREDERIKSTED — A St. Croix man was arrested Thursday after police said he sent a picture of his private parts to an underage girl on social media.

Myles Ventura, 28, was wanted by police for showing a picture of his penis from his Snapchat account to a female minor, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

Ventura was charged with visual medium depicting sexually explicit conduct/attempt and distribution or exhibition to a minor and child abuse, according to the VIPD.

Members of the Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) executed an arrest warrant on Ventura on Thursday.

Bail for Ventura was set at $60,000. Unable to post bail, he was remanded to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections at the John A. Bell Adult Correctional Facility pending an advice-of-rights hearing.
