CHRISTIANSTED — The Christiansted Retail and Restaurant Association (CRRA) will be holding their Thanksgiving Day Edition of the Christiansted Town Jump-Up Event tomorrow, Friday, November 29, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The following parking and traffic restrictions will be in effect:
- NO PARKING on King Street (Florence Williams Library) to the Christiansted Fort.
- NO PARKING on Company Street from the Christiansted Fort to the corner of
Company Street and Queen Cross Street (Riddims). - NO PARKING on Queen Cross Street from the corner of Queen Cross and Company
Street (Riddims) to the Caravelle Casino. - NO PARKING on Strand Lane.
- NO traffic will be allowed pass the Florence Williams Library on King Street and the
corner of King Cross Street from 4:00 p.m., except for vendors taking part in the
Jump-Up. - NO traffic will be allowed pass the Christiansted Fort on Hospital Street westbound
onto Company Street. All traffic will be rerouted onto Queen Street westbound and
around the Jump-Up event.
Any vehicles parked in the restricted areas will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense
The Virgin Islands Police Department said it “appreciates your cooperation.”
