KINGSHILL — After a plea deal, a St. Croix man got 12 years in prison for repeatedly molesting an 11-year-old girl over a period of three years, authorities said.
Keithley Jones, 54, received that sentence for first-degree unlawful sexual contact, Virgin Islands Attorney General Gordon C. Rhea said today.
Jones’ sentencing was administered by Judge Douglas Brady in Virgin Islands Superior Court on March 26, 2025, according to AG Rhea.

Jones was required to submit a presentence report to the Office of Probation before sentencing and now must register as a sex offender.
The charges stemmed from his sexual abuse of a child under the age of 13 between 2019 and 2022, according to court documents.
Jones had been charged with first-degree aggravated rape, first-degree unlawful sexual contact and child abuse, court records show.
Attorney General Rhea expressed gratitude to all those involved “for their dedication and hard work,” including prosecutors Jasmine Griffin, Esq. and Robert Pickett, Esq.
He also recognized Assistant Attorneys General from the St. Croix Criminal Division of the Virgin Islands Department of Justice, as well as the Litigation and Victim Services Teams, particularly Juliet John-Hope.
He also thanked the Virgin Islands Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Bureau for their thorough investigation of the case.
