Help cops find Genesis Selkridge wanted in connection to gun incident in bar

CHARLOTTE AMALIE —The Virgin Islands Police Department is asking for your help to find a woman wanted on St. Thomas.

Genesis Selkridge, 25, of Rosendahl, is wanted in connection to offenses including reckless endangerment, possession of a firearm and disturbance of the peace, according to the VIPD.

Selkridge is a Black female with brown eyes, black hair and a brown complexion. She stands 5-feet, 5-inches tall and weighs 110 pounds.

On October 26, 2025, “Selkridge was allegedly involved in a violent altercation inside a bar located at Four Winds Plaza, St. Thomas,” police said.

“During the incident, she was observed physically assaulting her boyfriend and subsequently throwing a loaded firearm onto the bar counter,” according to police.

“The weapon was then taken by her boyfriend, who discharged it inside the crowded establishment, placing numerous patrons in imminent danger,” police said.

The VIPD is urging anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Genesis Selkridge to contact 911 or Crime Stoppers USVI at 1-800-222-8477.

Tipsters call also contact the Criminal Investigation Bureau at 340-774-2211, Ext. 5573.
