Help cops find Nia Cruz-Watts wanted for contempt of court on St. Croix

CHRISTIANSTED — Police on St. Croix are asking for your help tonight to find a wanted fugitive from justice.

Nia A. Cruz-Watts, 37, of Catherine’s Rest, is wanted for contempt of court, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

Cruz-Watts is a Black female with brown eyes, black hair and a light complexion. She stands 5-feet, 11-inches tall and weighs 190 pounds.

The suspect is known to frequent the Catherine’s Rest area of St. Croix, according to the VIPD.

Police did not say on Facebook whether Cruz-Watts is wanted for civil or criminal contempt of court.
