VIPD Issues Wanted Poster For St. Croix Coconut Vendor Linked To Domestic Violence Assault

ST. CROIX — Authorities in the U.S. Virgin Islands are asking for the community’s help to locate a 34-year-old man wanted in connection with a domestic violence investigation.

The Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD) Criminal Investigation Bureau released a “Wanted” notice on Saturday for Joseph Ventura, also known by the alias “Joe.” According to forensic records, Ventura is wanted for Simple Assault – Domestic Violence.


Suspect Description

Police provided the following physical profile for Ventura:

  • Height: 6’2”
  • Weight: 152 lbs
  • Hair: Black dreadlocks
  • Eyes: Brown
  • Occupation: Coconut Vendor
  • Birthplace: St. Croix, USVI

  • Stop and Shop vicinity
  • Mountain

  • White Lady
