Sanctioned tanker carrying Venezuelan oil docked at Curacao terminal, Tankertrackers.com says

WILLEMSTAD (Reuters) — A Vietnam-flagged tanker under sanctions carrying a Venezuelan oil cargo has docked at Curacao’s Bullen Bay terminal, ship monitoring service Tankertrackers.com said today.

Curacao authorities had said earlier this week that a vessel carrying a crude cargo as part of a 50-million-barrel supply deal between Caracas and Washington was arriving in the Caribbean island.

It was not immediately clear which company was chartering the tanker. Trading houses Vitol and Trafigura obtained U.S. licenses last week to trade the first sales of the deal.
