VIPD: We’re Investigating Shooting In Estate Bordeaux That Took Place Monday Night

CHARLOTTE AMALIE — A St. Thomas man told police that as soon as he got home in Estate Bordeaux he parked his car and someone started shooting at it.

On Monday, October 29th, 2018 at about 9:24 p.m., Richard N. Callwood Command Patrol Officers were dispatched to the area of Estate Bordeaux in reference to shots being fired.

Police arriving on the scene found a white Acura with multiple bullet holes about the body of the car, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

The man whose car was shot said that “he had just arrived home when someone from an unknown vehicle started discharging a firearm at his vehicle,” VIPD spokesman Glen Dratte said.

No one was injured as a result of the shooting.

The case is currently under active investigation by the Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB).
