CHRISTIANSTED — Cane Bay Films is pleased to announce that filmmaker Johanna Bermúdez-Ruiz’s recent short film, Soléne won the Special Jury Award at the International Outfest Film Festival, Dominican Republic!
Bermúdez-Ruiz stated, “It was truly a great honor to receive this award and we are sincerely grateful to Outfest for the recognition within a field of some of the most prolific films curated in their film program.”
We were delighted to have introduced new audiences to breathtaking St. Croix, and the U.S. Virgin Islands in the Caribbean Sea. The region is perfectly suited for creating visionary cinematic films and providing strong production value to the local and international film industry.
