St. Thomas Man Arrested Twice In One Year

CHARLOTTE AMALIE — The VIPD’s Domestic Violence Unit went to the Chicken and Bowling in Havensight St. Thomas about a woman who said that she had been assaulted by Ruben George. 

On Friday July 5, about 6:30 p.m., 33-year-old Ruben George was seen in the area of Havensight Mall and detained by Patrol Officers, the Virgin Islands Police Department reported.

“Criminal Investigation Bureau placed Ruben George under arrest for Assault in the third degree-domestic violence,” VIPD spokesman Glen Dratte said.

George was unable to post the $25,000 bail and was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advice of rights hearing.
