CHARLOTTE AMALIE — The U.S. Virgin Islands’ outbreak of the coronavirus has now infected at least 51 people, but the territory’s death toll remained just one this weekend.
Confirmed cases in the territory increased by five this weekend to 51, according to figures released by the Virgin Islands Department of Health.
St. Thomas has had one recorded death, an 85-year-old man who was in contact with people from Anguilla. There are three people hospitalized for COVID-19 to date.
