WAPA Says 80 Customers In Estate Strawberry-Limetree Will Lose Power Tomorrow

CHRISTIANSTED — Some 80 Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority customers are scheduled to lose power tomorrow.

According to a WAPA alert, customers in Strawberry and Limetree will have no electricity between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Thursday.

The “service interruption” is needed so contractor crews can “perform permanent work on the electric grid,” WAPA said on Facebook.

The affected customers are on St. Croix Feeder No. 5A.
