Police Searching For Edward Paul Wanted For Questioning In The Murder Of Choco Diaz

CHRISTIANSTED — Police are searching for a 42-year-old St. Croix resident wanted for questioning in a murder that took place in La Grande Princesse today.

Edward “Eggnog” Paul was last seen with 37-year-old Carlos “Choco” Diaz who was shot multiple times in front of Anna’s Bar in La Grande Princesse before 3:30 a.m., the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

“Mr. Paul is wanted for murder in this matter and we are asking the community for their assistance in locating him,” VIPD spokesman Glen Dratte said.

Paul  wears glasses, has low hair cut hair and facial hair. He is considered a “person of interest” by the VIPD.

“If located approach with caution, Edward Paul has a national extradition,” Dratte said. “He is considered armed and dangerous.”
