Virgin Islands Lottery Postpones Next Drawing For 2 Weeks Due To COVID-19

CHARLOTTE AMALIE — In an emergency meeting held on Monday, the Virgin Islands Lottery Commission decided to postpone drawing #955 from tomorrow to April 16.

“This is attributed to the current coronavirus pandemic,” the commission said in a written statement. “Dealers’ special numbers will be available for pick up until Wednesday, April 8, 2020.”

The V.I. Lottery Commission said it will continue to be open “Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.”

It said that they are “continuing to follow the guidance of the Department of Health practicing social distancing.”

“No more than five patrons are allowed into the lobby at a time,” the commission said. “If you are experiencing any of the signs and symptoms, please seek immediate help and urge you to self-isolate.”
