CHARLOTTE AMALIE — A St. Thomas man who allegedly punctured the tires of his former girlfriend’s vehicle at least three times has been arrested by police, authorities said.

Ja’Koi Bell, 23, of Oswald Harris Court, was arrested at 10:17 a.m. Thursday and charged with destruction of property-domestic violence, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

“The victim in this matter, Bell’s former intimate partner, reported on April 27 that Bell punctured the tires on her vehicle on three occasions, and she has observed him doing so in the past,” VIPD spokesman Toby Derima said.

Bell surrendered to police and was placed under arrest by detectives from the Domestic Violence Unit.
