St. Thomas Man Arrested After Allegedly Throwing Brick Through Car Window

CHARLOTTE AMALIE — A St. Thomas man faces criminal charges after allegedly breaking a car window with a brick while a passenger was inside the vehicle on Monday morning, authorities said.

Calvin Henry, 44 of Estate Thomas was arrested about 11:50 a.m. Monday and charged with third-degree assault-domestic violence, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

“Henry admitted to throwing a brick at the victim’s vehicle, shattering the driver side window,” VIPD spokesman Toby Derima said. “The victim received minor injuries in the incident.”

Henry was not offered bail, as per the territory’s domestic violence statutes.

He was remanded to the custody of the Virgin Islands Bureau of Corrections pending an advice-of-rights hearing.
