St. Thomas Man In ‘Critical Condition’ At Hospital After Being Shot In Lindbergh Bay

CHARLOTTE AMALIE — A St. Thomas man is in “critical condition” at the hospital after being shot “multiple times” at Lindbergh Bay last night, authorities said.

Police are investigating after an unidentified male was shot in the Lindbergh Bay area known as “Trailer City” at 8:13 p.m. Wednesday, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

Police learned after the 911 Emergency call that a male victim had been transported to the Schneider Regional Medical Center via private vehicle for treatment, according to the VIPD.

“The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was listed in critical condition,” VIPD spokesman Toby Derima said.

This case is currently under active investigation.
