Police Investigate Gunshots Fired By Two Masked Men Near Brookman Road: VIPD

CHARLOTTE AMALIE — Two people wearing ski masks fired “multiple gunshots” near Brookman Road in broad daylight late Wednesday morning. No injuries were reported to police.

The 911 Emergency Call Center was alerted to a report of gunshots fired in the Brookman Road area at 11:06 a.m. Wednesday, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

“Officers responded to the area, where witnesses and closed circuit video footage confirmed that two individuals wearing ski masks fired multiple gunshots,” VIPD spokesman Toby Derima said. “Further investigation did not uncover any gunshot victims.”

“Anyone who was in the area of the shooting or with information about this incident is asked to contact the Police Department as this case is presently under investigation,” Derima said.
