FREDERIKSTED — Police are asking for your help this morning to find a 43-year-old St. Croix man wanted for contempt of court.
Fernando “Bravo” Santiago, 43, has an arrest warrant issued in his name by the V.I. Superior Court, the Virgin Islands Police Department said today.
Police described Santiago as being an Hispanic male with brown eyes, black hair and a medium build. He stands 5-feet, 5-inches tall and weighs about 165 pounds.
Santiago has a light complexion and distinguishing marks such as a tattoo with the name “Shenel” on his left hand and a tattoo with the name “Lily” on his right wrist.
He is known to frequent the Williams Delight, Aureo Diaz Heights areas of St. Croix, according to the VIPD wanted poster. Santiago also hangs out at Gateway Service Station in Peter’s Rest.
If you see Santiago you are asked to call 911 or the Criminal Investigation Bureau at (340) 778-2211.
“Make contact with Detective M. Francis at (340) 712-6094,” the VIPD said. “If you know the whereabouts, you can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).”
The VIPD put out a wanted poster on Santiago in a tweet on Twitter at 5:17 a.m. today.
