Homeless Man Wanted For Robbery Of Nisky Center Eyeglass Store Last Month

CHARLOTTE AMALIE — Police are searching for a 34-year-old homeless man who is wanted in connection to a robbery of an eyeglass store in Nisky Center last month.

Leon Wilkins is wanted for a third-degree robbery that occurred at the Vision Center in Nisky Center on November 30, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

“If you have seen Leon Wilkins, please contact Detective Danielle Greenaway at (340) 774-2211 extension 5579,” the VIPD said.

Police described Wilkins as a Black male who stands 5-feet, 9-inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds.

Wilkins is known to frequent the Contant Car Wash, police said.
