CHRISTIANSTED — Police need your help tonight to find a St. Croix minor who has been missing for three days.

Yolainny Martinez, 16, of Catherine’s Rest, has been missing since Sunday, the Virgin Islands Police Department said today.

“The VIPD St. Croix District is asking for the community’s assistance in locating 16-year-old Yolainny Martinez,” police said. “If seen, please call the Youth Investigation Bureau at (340) 712-6028 or 911.”

Police described Yolainny as an Hispanic female with brown eyes and brown hair who stands 5-feet, 5-inches tall and weighs about 130 pounds with a slender build.

Family members say Yolainny was last seen at her home in Catherine’s Rest on Sunday.

Police announced the news that Martinez was missing in a post to Twitter at 12:27 a.m. today.
