TRASHED! Red Hook Dumpster Site Looks A Fright! But Who Will Clean It Up?

CHARLOTTE AMALIE — People are up in arms about the maintenance of a trash bin site on St. Thomas.

Residents say the dumpster site — maintained by the Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority — is unsightly, unhealthy and dangerous to navigate in its current condition.

People on social media begged the Bryan-Roach Administration of transparency to see through this clear and present danger to public health — and clean it up immediately.

Folks on St. Thomas said the VIWMA-controlled bin site has been in this deplorable condition for weeks — and calls to the Virgin Islands Department of Public Works and VIWMA have gone unheeded.

If you know anyone at VIWMA or DPW, please ask them to go out to Red Hook and get this mess tidied up.
