Massachusetts Native Wanted For Torching Auto Parts Business In St. John: VIPD

CRUZ BAY β€” Police need your help to find a Massachusetts native who is wanted for torching an auto parts business in St. John just over a week ago, authorities said.

Steven Allan Haluszka, 66, of Quacco and Zimmerman in St. John is wanted for starting a fire at a Pine Peace auto parts store, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

β€œThe above subject is wanted in connection with an arson second-degree that occurred on May 8 at ‘The Caravan,’ a business in St. John Virgin Islands,” the VIPD said on Facebook Saturday.

Haluszka was described by police as being a Caucasian male who stands about 5-feet, 9-inches tall. His weight is unknown.

If you see Haluszka, you are asked to call 911 or Detective A, Dorsett of the Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) at (340) 693-8880 x5207 or (340) 774-2211 x5640. You can also notify Lieutenant S. Smith of the Virgin Islands Fire Service through 911.

The news that Haluszka was wanted by police for questioning in an arson incident was posted to Facebook at 11:36 a.m. Saturday.
