SILVER ALERT: Police Need Your Help To Find Elderly Man Last Seen In Carlton

FREDERIKSTED — Police issued a “Silver Alert” this morning after an elderly St. Croix resident went missing on Monday.

Oswald A. Small, 85, was last seen driving his white sedan in Estate Carlton on Monday, the Virgin Islands Police Department said today.

Small is a Black male who stands 5-feet, 11-inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. He has gray hair, brown eyes and a light brown complexion.

“Small was last seen on May 24 at around 9:15 a.m. on surveillance video at a residence in Estate Carlton driving his vehicle, a white Mazda,” VIPD spokesman Toby Derima said. “He was wearing a white shirt, blue jean shorts, and a blue baseball cap.”

A distinguishing feature about Small is that he walks “hunched over,” Derima said, adding that the missing man is a native of Barbados.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Oswald A. Small is urged to call 911 or the Criminal Investigation Bureau at (340) 778-2211.
