2 Charged With Possession of Stolen Property On St. Thomas


CHARLOTTE AMALIE —
Two individuals were arrested Saturday by the Criminal Investigation Bureau for having stolen property.

Shaniqua “Boobie” Wheatley, 29, and Renial Francis, 19, were each positively identified by witnesses, for being in possession of stolen property, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

Wheatley and Francis were each charged with grand larceny and possession of stolen property, according to the VIPD.

Bail for Wheatley and Francis was set at $20,000 each. Unable to post bail, they were remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending advice-of-rights hearings.
