Bryan re-connects with the island of St. John

CRUZ BAY – Governor Albert Bryan spent the weekend “fully immersed in the vibrant spirit of St. John, connecting with residents and experiencing the island’s charm firsthand,” Government House said.

From Fish Fry Road to the East End and down South, Bryan said he was “pleased to see the island looking clean and well kept,” with Department of Public Works “crews actively maintaining the roads and landscapes.”

“I went as far as north side road and could see recent patching, we have more to do, but the issues are being addressed “ the governor said.

While enjoying local hospitality, he was impressed with the addition of the new restaurant at Karma and an opening tour of the Saint, Cruz Bay’s newest spa, ahead of its grand opening.

The seafood festival was also a success in its fifth year and “did not disappoint the taste buds,” he said.

Bryan said he “remains committed to engaging with the people of the Virgin Islands and celebrating the progress of our communities.”
