St. Croix: Cloudy, breezy, couple thunderstorms in morning, high 88

CHRISTIANSTED — Today St. Croix will be cloudy and breezy with a couple of thunderstorms in the morning and a high of 88, AccuWeather said.

Tonight St. Croix will experience partly cloudy conditions and a low of 78, according to AccuWeather.

Hazy skies and breezy winds

Saharan dust will bring low to moderate haze through at least tomorrow, the National Weather Service said.

There will be a limited heat risk in coastal and urban areas, according to the NWS.

“Expect afternoon showers and isolated storms over western Puerto Rico,” the NWS said on X.

Meanwhile, there is a low to moderate risk of rip currents today, according to the NWS.

An area of low pressure will support the development of showers and thunderstorms across local waters and portions of the islands through at least mid-week, the NWS said.
