Moderate Rip Current Risk continues along north-facing beaches, according to the NWS.

“We’re sharing this update due to multiple reports today of swimmers struggling with strong currents,” the NWS said on Facebook.

🌊 Life-threatening rip currents are possible in moderate-risk areas — even strong swimmers can be pulled away from shore. Don’t become a statistic.

🛟 Stay near lifeguards and never swim alone.

⚠️ If in doubt, don’t go out. Rip current risk increases near sandbars, jetties, piers, and rocks.
