Responding officers met with the victim who stated that on Friday, October 31, 2025, at about 6:00 p.m. Nia Cruz arrived at the residence despite a Reciprocal Restraining Order being in place, police said.

According to the court order, Cruz is not allowed to be within 1,000 feet of the victim or the victim’s home.

The victim stated that on Saturday, November 1, 2025, Cruz showed up again to the residence, which resulted in his call for officer assistance, according to police.

On Wednesday, November 5, 2025, patrol officers met with Cruz and took her into official custody without incident.

No bail was offered to the suspect in keeping with the territory’s domestic violence laws.

Cruz was read her Miranda Rights, booked and processed.

She was transferred to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections at the John A. Bell Adult Correctional Facility in Estate Golden Grove.

Cruz is scheduled for an advice-of-rights hearing at the Superior Court in Estate Kingshill.
