Mostly fair weather is expected across the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico due to the presence of a drier air mass, the National Weather Service said.

Localized showers are possible across central and western Puerto Rico during the afternoon hours, according to the NWS.

There is a low to moderate risk of rip currents today, the NWS said.

Stay aware and swim near lifeguards.
