SAN JUAN — An unstable pattern will favor mostly cloudiness across the islands, resulting in isolated rain during the day, the National Weather Service said.

Some showers are expected across the Inland west of Puerto Rico, with a limited risk of flooding and some thunderstorms in the afternoon, according to the NWS.

For the Virgin Islands, expect passing showers during the day, the NWS said.

On St. Croix, residents and visitors alike will see intervals of clouds and sunshine and a high of 86, AccuWeather said.

Tonight St. Croix will see clear to partly cloudy conditions with a low of 67, according to AccuWeather.

High clouds will prevail over the islands tonight, according to the NWS.
