CHRISTIANSTED — Viya said today that its services are operational in the wake of Tropical Storm Ernesto.
Although Viya’s network is operational, some customers may be experiencing intermittent
service. Viya advises customers that if you lose commercial power, plug in your modem to an
alternate power source to continue to receive services. Once power is restored, please reset
your device and wait five minutes before service resumes. If customers have commercial power
or an alternate power source and they still do not have connectivity, please contact us at (340)
777-Viya (8492).
Viya’s network is online, but may be adversely affected by prolonged power outages that affect
its backup power supplies. Viya technicians have been regularly refueling the power supplies.
Viya advises the public to stay tuned to Viya’s social media channels (Facebook: Viya and
Instagram: Viyausvi) and local radio stations for updates.
Customers can conduct transactions, report downed lines and report service outages
