There is a high risk of “life-threatening” rip currents with waves breaking 9-feet high today, the National Weather Service said.
Meanwhile, there is a “red flag warning of significant fire danger risk from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for western and southern Puerto Rico, according to the NWS.

Marine and coastal hazards
A small craft advisory remains in effect for today starting at 6:00 p.m.
Smaller vessels should avoid navigating the Atlantic waters around the islands as waters could be up to 9-feet high.
