CHARLOTTE AMALIE — An unidentified man entered a University of the Virgin Islands student’s dorm room on St. Thomas and raped her.
The 19-year-old victim told police that between midnight and 1 a.m. on Saturday the man entered her room and raped her.
Police did not say if the woman had initially invited the man into the room or if he broke in — and committed the rape.
The Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD) also didn’t know if the person was armed or was a fellow UVI student.
Police have announced no arrests in the matter and have not divulged if they are investigating the crime.
