St. Thomas Man Who Repeatedly Raped Underage Girl Arrested By Police: VIPD

CHARLOTTE AMALIE — A St. Thomas man who repeatedly raped an underage girl on St. Thomas was arrested by police on Thursday night, authorities said.

Timothy Brewer, 32, of Smith Bay, was arrested about 8:18 p.m. Thursday and charged with first-degree rape and unlawful sexual contact, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

“Brewer is alleged to have coerced a minor female to engage in sexual acts on several occasions,” VIPD spokesman Toby Derima said.

Bail for Brewer was set at $100,000. Unable to post bail, he was remanded to the custody of the Virgin Islands Bureau of Corrections (BOC) pending an advice-of-rights hearing.
