CBP Agents Detain Atlanta Fugitive At Cyril E. King Airport Monday

CHARLOTTE AMALIE — A wanted fugitive was detained by federal agents at the St. Thomas airport Monday based on an outstanding warrant for his arrest in Georgia.

Eason Sh’Roi Polk, 35, of Atlanta, was transferred to the custody of the Criminal Investigation Bureau at 4:20 p.m. Monday, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

An investigation revealed that Polk was wanted in the State of Georgia for failure to appear in court, according to the VIPD.

Polk was arrested, booked and processed. No bail was set in this matter.

This case is currently under active investigation by the Criminal Investigation Bureau.
