Flood advisory in effect for St. Croix, NWS says

CHRISTIANSTED — Today St. Croix will be mostly cloudy with a touch of rain in the afternoon and a high of 87, AccuWeather said.

Tonight St. Croix will be mostly cloudy with a couple of showers late and a low of 74, according to AccuWeather.

For the larger region, the risk of rip currents remains low to moderate, the National Weather Service said.

A high risk of rip currents is anticipated for Sunday due to a northeast swell, according to the NWS.

For the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico, wet, unstable weather will prevail through the weekend, the NWS said.

People in Culebra, Vieques and the U.S. Virgin Islands should watch out for the wetness in the evening.

While people in the central interior and northern central areas of Puerto Rico might need an umbrella if you are going out at night.
