St. Croix: Breezy, times of sun and clouds, 2 morning showers, high 87

CHRISTIANSTED — Today St. Croix will be breezy with times of sun and clouds and a couple of morning showers for a high of 87, AccuWeather said.

Tonight St. Croix will be partly cloudy and warm with a low of 78, according to AccuWeather.

A long-period northeasterly swell will continues moving through regional waters today, deteriorating marine and coastal conditions, the National Weather Service said.

Seas will be at 6 to 8 feet, with breaking waves up to 13 feet through at least tonight, according to the NWS.

A High Surf Advisory remains in effect for St. Croix and portions of northeast Puerto Rico from 4:28 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. today, the NWS said.

Small Craft Advisories and High Risk of Rip Currents continue to be in effect for St. Croix and the waters around northeast Puerto Rico from today through at least 6:00 tomorrow, according to the NWS.
